About NAWL Cantilever

NAWL cantilever rack is engineered for the long, heavy, and awkward loads conventional pallet rack can’t handle — lumber, pipe, tubing, steel bar, conduit, sheet goods, and oversized furniture. Structural-steel columns mount onto wide bases and accept bolt-on adjustable arms, giving the operator a clear, column-free face to load with a forklift or sideloader.

Stock SKUs cover 12′ and 16′ columns rated 12,980 lb and 11,660 lb per side, 48″ and 60″ bases, and straight 48″ and 60″ arms rated 2,640 lb and 3,260 lb each. Configure single- or double-sided runs; arms adjust on 4″ vertical increments for product mix changes without a structural rebuild.

Every component ships in NAWL blue powder-coat, anchor-ready, and designed and tested to RMI / ANSI MH16.3. Cantilever Rack — For Anything Long, Heavy, or Awkward

Cantilever is the right answer when pallet rack isn't. Lumber, pipe, sheet stock, bar steel, conduit, extrusions — anything that's longer than it is wide loads cleaner onto cantilever arms than into upright bays.

NAWL stocks 12' and 16' columns, 48" and 60" arms and bases, and all the bracing in Venus, TX.

When to choose cantilever

If your loads are longer than 8' or you're trying to selective-pick from a single end, go cantilever. If your loads palletize cleanly, stay on pallet rack.

Columns, arms, and bases

Our 12' columns carry 12,980 lbs per side and our 16' columns carry 11,660 lbs per side. 48" arms rate 2,640 lbs each; 60" arms rate 3,260 lbs. Bases match the deepest arm and bolt to the floor.

Single vs double sided

Single-sided runs against a wall and uses less floor space. Double-sided doubles your storage per column but needs aisle access on both sides. Most lumber yards run double-sided down the middle and single-sided against walls.

Outdoor cantilever

Cantilever lives outdoors as often as indoors. Galvanized finish is available on all stock SKUs; we'll quote painted-and-sealed for custom colors. Anchor to a 6" minimum concrete pad.

Yes — specify galvanized or painted finish at quote. Anchor to a minimum 6" concrete pad.

Most yards run double-sided in the center of the building and single-sided along the walls. We'll lay out the floor plan with you.
