The Stock Cantilever Lineup: What Ships Fast and What Does Not

NAWL's cantilever line is stocked in 18 SKUs covering 12-foot and 16-foot columns, 48-inch and 60-inch arms, 48-inch and 60-inch bases, and a choice of blue powder-coat or galvanized finish. Stock items typically dispatch within 48 to 72 hours of ordering. Heavier columns and custom colors take longer.

Knowing exactly what is in the stock lineup lets you design around it, which is the fastest way to a working cantilever run.

What ships fast?

Stock columns, arms and bases on the quick-ship program typically dispatch within 48 to 72 hours of ordering. That covers most standard runs: a few columns, a set of arms per level, and matching bases. For comparison, stock cantilever ships in days where domestic mill lead times are often quoted in weeks. See stock cantilever in days vs. mill lead times in weeks.

What takes longer?

  • Heavier columns. Available on a 7 to 10 day lead time. Read when to order heavier cantilever columns.
  • Custom colors. Painted-and-sealed finishes are quoted, so they add time.
  • Non-stock sizes. Anything outside the 12 and 16 foot columns or 48 and 60 inch arms is a quote item.
  • Oversize or special orders. Quote the lead time before you plan around them.

How do I build a run from stock?

  1. Pick the column height. See 12-foot vs. 16-foot stock columns
  2. Pick the arm length for your stock. See 48-inch vs. 60-inch arms
  3. Match the base to the deepest arm. See matching a base to your deepest arm
  4. Choose single- or double-sided. See single-sided vs. double-sided
  5. Choose a finish for your environment
  6. Count columns, arm levels and bases in a bill of materials

Which finish should I pick?

Blue powder-coat suits indoor use. Galvanized is the better starting point for outdoor yards and damp buildings in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, where snow, salt and condensation attack paint. See galvanized vs. powder-coated cantilever in Minnesota winters.

Who can buy at what price?

Retail buyers can order stock SKUs online or by quote. Wholesale pricing requires a signed dealer agreement, which suits installers and contractors who buy often. See dealer accounts for Minnesota contractors and installers. There are no minimums on standard SKUs.

How does freight to Minnesota work?

Stock items ship by freight carrier. Transit time depends on the carrier and your location, so confirm it on your quote. You can also release the order to your own carrier. Read how stock cantilever ships to Minnesota.

What does NAWL not do?

NAWL supplies cantilever rack and components and does not install. Your crew, a dealer or an installer handles assembly and anchoring.
